Assam Direct Recruitment 2022

The Government of Assam has constituted a commission called Assam Direct Recruitment Commission to carry out the recruitment process of Group C and Group D posts of various departments. This commission has been formed to fulfil the guarantee of 1 lakh jobs provided by the current Chief Minister of Assam. The commission will accept common applications from 11th April 2022 for similar types of posts in different departments. Also, the selection process will be same and candidates will have to appear for only one exam for all the departments and merit list will be prepared on the basis of their performance in that exam.

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must have register their name in any one of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.

Application Fee of Assam Direct Recruitment

Candidates who are eligible and willing to apply online as per official notification, they have to pay application fee to complete their application process. The amount of application fee varies according to the type of post and the category of the candidate. A brief description of the amount of the application fee is given below.

Mode of Payment: The mode of payment of application fee will be online. The applicants of Assam direct recruitment will be able to pay their application fee through online payment gateway. Applicants can pay their fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, NetBanking or Wallet.

How to Apply for Assam Direct Recruitment?

Candidates who will be eligible as per official notification of Assam direct recruitment will be able to submit their online applications through official application portal. Candidates will be able to submit their application for all the eligible posts in one go. There will be a common application portal for the recruitment of all the departments. Candidates can follow the following steps to complete their online application process.

  • Click on Online Apply Link.
  • An official web portal will load in a new tab.
  • In that portal, candidates will find Registration form.
  • Open that Registration form, filled all required details.
  • After that you will have to upload your Photograph and Signature in prescribed file format.
  • Now, you will have to pay application fee.
  • After payment of application fee, your application will be submitted.
  • You can print your application acknowledgement for future use.

The commission will conduct separate examinations to select the candidates for different types of posts. The examinations shall be held separately on different dates as follows so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination. Bachelor’s Degree Level

The commission will conduct separate examination as per the following eligibility qualifications for the posts.

  1. Bachelor’s Degree.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Skill.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
  4. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.
  5. Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics.

Stage 1 (Written Exam)

Candidates submitting applications for graduate level posts will have to take a written test. The structure of the written examination will be as follows.

Type of Questions: Objective Multiple Choice Type Questions (MCQs)

Merit List

On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit. The commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for computer test/ other test/ practical test. Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection.
