Gauhati University has released the Recruitment Notification for the Post of Principal on 04 May 2022 in Kamrup. Candidates Who want to apply for Gauhati University Principal Vacancies, apply on or before 11 May 2022.
Necessary qualifications and guidelines are mentioned below:
1. Position: Principal
2. Qualification:
a) A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed, from a recognized University.
b) A Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline(s) in the institution concerned with evidence of published work.
c) Associate Professor/Professor with a total service/experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in universities/Colleges and other Institutions of Higher Education.
d) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (AP) based performance appraisal (PBAS) asset in the UGC regulation for direct recruitment of Principals in Colleges.
e) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. (Must attach self-attested valid supporting documents)
f) A minimum of 110 research scores as per Table-2 (UGC guideline dated 18.07.2018).
3. The term of Principal shall be of 5 years as per guidelines issued by the Government of Assam.
Application Fee:
Rs. 3000/- (Three thousand) only (non-refundable) drawn in favor of Principal, B.P.Chaliha College, Nagarbera, Kamrup, Assam payable at SBI, Mirza Branch.
Selection Procedure:
Selection Will be Based on either a Written Exam or an Interview
