DHE Combined Merit Scholarship:
The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam has released an official notification regarding the Combined Merit Scholarship (Degree and Mater Degree) Scheme 2022. For this scholarship eligible Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of Assam are able to submit their online applications. Other Details of Combined Merit Scholarship
For UG courses: To be eligible for this scholarship scheme the student must have a minimum of 60% marks in his/her Higher Secondary Final Examination.
For PG courses: To be eligible for this scholarship scheme the student must have a minimum of 60% marks in his/her General Degree Course.
Degree Type: Students pursuing an Under Graduate Degree and Master’s Degree courses in Arts/ Science/ Commerce discipline in any recognized institution for the session 2022-23 are eligible for the schemes.
Domicile: The student must be a domicile of Assam.
Bank Account: The student should have a valid bank account (preferably in SBI) in his own name. Bank account details have to be submitted while submitting the online application.
Selection Process: The student will be selected strictly on the basis of merit in all respects and will also be restricted as per the budget allocation.
How to Apply for DHE Combined Merit Scholarship?
Students who fulfil all the required eligibility criteria as per the official notification of DHE, Assam can submit their online applications for this scholarship scheme on the official portal. After the successful filing of online applications, students will have to take a printout of the acknowledgement and submit it along with the required documents to the Registrar/ Principal/ Head of the Institute. - Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get a registration form. In that form, you have to enter all your asked details carefully.
- After successfully filling out that form you have to click on the right arrow button.
- After that, your account will be created and you will need to login to the portal by using your DHE Unique Id and Password (created by you).
- After logging in, you have to complete all the given steps by providing your correct information.
- At last, you need to upload some documents and click on submit application button.
- After the successful submission of the application, you have to print the acknowledgement and submit it along with all relevant documents to your respective institution.
