Assam Police Recruitment 2023:
State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam has issued four official notifications regarding the recruitment of 943 posts of Safai Karmachari, Constable, Sub-Inspector, Sub-Officer, Emergency Rescuer, Tailor and Dresser. The recruitment has been announced under Assam Police, APRO, DGCD & CGHG, FES, Prison Department and Forest Department. The application process for this recruitment will be online based and eligible and interested candidates will have to submit their online applications on the official website of SLRBP.

Required Educational Qualification
Safai Karmachari: Candidates who have passed class 6th from a recognized school or institute and have a training certificate or 1 year of experience are eligible.
Constable (Communication): Candidates who have passed HS in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council are eligible. Note that candidates must have obtained passing marks in all PCM subjects.
Constable (Driver): Candidates who have passed HSLC from a recognized board or council and have a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV are eligible.
Constable (Dispatch Rider): Candidates who have passed HSLC from a recognized board or council and have a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV are eligible.
Constable (Handymen): Candidates who have passed HSLC from a recognized board or council and have a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV are eligible.
Constable (Messenger): Candidates who have passed HSLC from a recognized board or council and have a valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV are eligible.
Constable (Carpenter): Candidates who have passed HSLC from a recognized Board or Council and have passed a prescribed ITI course in the trade are eligible.
Sub-Inspector (APRO): B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science). For more details, please refer to the official notification.
Sub-Officer: Candidates who have passed HS in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council are eligible. Note that candidates must have obtained passing marks in all PCM subjects.
Emergency Rescuer: Candidates who have passed HS in Science from a recognized Board or Council are eligible.
Tailor: Candidates who have passed HSLC from any recognized Board or Council and have Diploma in Trade are eligible.
Dresser: Candidates who have passed HSLC from any recognized board or council and having experience in Dresser (Medical) are eligible.
Age Limit for Assam Police Recruitment
For Sub-Inspector and Sub-Officer: The age of the candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 24 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2003 and on or after 1st January 1999.
For Constables: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2005 and on or after 1st January 1998.
For Others: The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2005 and on or after 1st January 1983.

Note: For the purpose of determining the age limit, the SLPRB will accept only the date of birth recorded in the Admit Card/ Certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination issued by a recognized education Board. No other documents relating to age such as horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporations, service records and the like will be accepted.

Other Details of Assam Police Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizens and permanent residents of Assam.
Employment Exchange: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Language: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Application Fee: There is no application fee for this recruitment.
