NERIE B.Ed Admission 2023
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has issued an official notification regarding the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) – 2023. In this article, we are going to provide information related to the NERIE B.Ed Admission. The Regional Institutes of Education situated in Shillong is known as NERIE. Interested students who are willing to get admission into the two-year B.Ed course will have to apply and appear for the CEE 2023 to be conducted by the NCERT.

NERIE Admission Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Science/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science or Mathematics or in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Social Science/Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
State: For B.Ed. at NERIE, Shillong only the students from the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura are eligible.
NERIE CEE Application Fee
The students who are eligible and willing to submit online applications for the Common Entrance Examination, 2023 of NCERT will have to pay an examination fee to complete the application process. Category-wise applicable examination fees will be as follows.

Mode of Payment: Applicants can pay their Exam Fee through Online Payment Gateway using their Debit Card/ Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
How to Apply for NERIE B.Ed Admission?
The students who are eligible for the Common Entrance Examination will have to submit the online application on the official web portal of NCERT. After that, the applicant has to appear in CEE and on the basis of his/her performance he/she will be selected for admission. To complete the online application process, you can follow the following steps.

- Click on the Online Application Link.
- Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
- After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
- After that, you have to upload your documents.
- Now, you have to pay the examination fee.
- After successful payment, your application will be submitted.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
