Assam Polytechnic Admission 2023:

The Directorate of Technical Education, Assam has issued an official notification regarding the admission of various polytechnic diploma courses in State Government Polytechnics of Assam and Polytechnics outside Assam for the session 2023-24. Online applications are invited from the candidates who are Permanent Residents of Assam (except Central Government Employees quota) for registration to appear in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of PAT 2023:

Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the HSLC or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science. Also, candidates have to secure the following marks as required by their categories.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit for the candidate for the PET exam will be as follows. Age will be calculated as on 31st December 2023.

Application Fee of PAT 2023:

Application Fee: To complete the online application process for PAT 2023 candidates have to pay Rs.500/- along with bank charges.

Online Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their application fee using State Bank Collect which provides the facility of payment through the Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or UPI.

Offline Mode of Payment: Payment may also be made in cash at any branch of the State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit form from State Bank Collect in the final step of the Online Application.

Candidates who fulfil all the required eligibility criteria and are willing to submit their online application for admission to the polytechnic diploma courses can submit their online application on the official application portal developed by DTE, Assam. Candidates can follow the following simple steps to complete the online application process for PAT 2023.

  • Click on the Online Application Link.
  • Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
  • In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
  • After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
  • After that, you have to upload your documents.
  • Now, you have to pay the application fee.
  • After successful payment, your application will be submitted.
  • Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
  • Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
