SSUHS BSc Nursing Admission
Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences has issued an official notification regarding Common Entrance Examination, 2023. SSUHS will conduct the CEE for admission into 1st year B.Sc. Nursing courses under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam for the session 2023. According to the official notification of SSUHS, eligible candidates will be able to submit their applications on the official web portal from 27th April 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board/ Council/ University with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General category candidates, 45% marks for PWD candidates and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H) category without grace marks. However, the students who have appeared Higher Secondary (10+2) Science Examination in 2023 and awaiting for their HS results are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination. They will be considered as provisionally eligible at the time of application. However, they shall have to upload their HS (10+2) marks in the application portal as and when the result is declared.
Gender: The applicant must be a Female candidate (for institutions under the Government of Assam). However, Male candidates may also appear in the CEE, 2023 for admission into Institutes under Private Sectors.
Age Limit: Applicant’s minimum age should be 17 years as on 31st December 2023.
Other Details of SSUHS CEE Exam
Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for the selection of candidates for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing and Diploma in Pharmacy Courses in the various Institutes under the Directorate of Medical Education, Assam for the session 2023 will be held on 4th June 2023 at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur and Diphu. The online application form will be available on the website of Srimanta Sankardev University of Health Sciences (www.ssuhs.in) from 27th April to 16th May 2023. The application form will no longer be available after 16th May 2023. Hence, interested candidates are advised to submit the form within this stipulated period only.
Application Fee: Applicants have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Twelve Hundred) through the online payment gateway of SBI. Candidates belonging to the PWD category are exempted from the above fee.
Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Residentship: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

- Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
