Eligibility Criteria of NIACL Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st January 2024 .Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as follows
SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC-NCL: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC / HSC / Intermediate / Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01/01/2024.
Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate ‘s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.

Selection Process of New India Assurance Assistant Recruitment
The selection process of New India Assurance Assistant Recruitment consists of following stages -Tier I : Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This would consist of 3 sections (with separate timings of 20 minutes for each section) as follows:

Tier II: Main Examination
The Main Examination for 250 marks, would be of tentatively 2 hours duration (separate time for each test / section or composite time) and will consist of 5 sections as follows with 40 questions each.

Tier III: Regional Language Test
Candidates shortlisted in the online Main Examination will subsequently be called for Regional Language Test to be conducted by the Company, at select centres. Candidates applying for vacancy under State / UT other than their domiciled State / UT, have to appear and qualify the Regional Language Test in the language of State / UT for which they have applied.
The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for the same.
The scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination will be considered while arriving at the Final Ranking subject to their qualifying the Regional Language Test. Candidate should be sufficiently high in the Merit List to be shortlisted for subsequent Recruitment process.
Tier III: Regional Language Test
Candidates shortlisted in the online Main Examination will subsequently be called for Regional Language Test to be conducted by the Company, at select centres.
